The Pepsi P1 and P1S are among the most unusual and collectible novelty smartphones ever made — Android phones manufactured by Koobee under a brand-licensing deal with PepsiCo, sold exclusively through a Chinese crowdfunding campaign on JD.com in late 2015. Only around 1,700 units were ever sold through the campaign, making genuine examples increasingly hard to find.
The P1 supports standard 4G LTE while the P1S adds China Unicom FDD-LTE network support. Both models are otherwise identical and feature a Pepsi-branded aluminium unibody design with a Pepsi-themed skin on top of Android 5.1. A genuine curiosity — a soft drink brand that made a real, working smartphone.
